Our Purpose

We help young women and girls become tomorrow's leaders. As we guide them through steps of competition, they gain poise, self-confidence, and valuable communication skills. Our pageant is different from many others in that we strongly discourage the use of make-up for girls ages 12 and younger during required competitions. We are looking for representatives who are typical of each age division.  Every facet of our pageant is designed to develop skills that are found in our country’s most successful people; skills that are an asset in any field, from modeling to business.

Pageants are exciting and lots of fun . . . but there is more than fun and excitement ahead for every contestant! Every year we see hundreds of young ladies arrive on Pageant Weekend who are too unsure or shy to get on stage. By pageant time they are enjoying new found confidence and being in the spotlight! We want every contestant to go home with a new sense of self-worth and poise that can only be developed through practice and stage experience. In other words, we want them to gain confidence, set and achieve goals, and learn to be the best person they can be. These are the most important prizes contestants take home with them and that is what American Coed Pageants are all about!

Parents and families, the American Coed Pageants are also for you. Participation in our pageants is a dream come true - an experience that will affect the entire course of a lifetime. Think of the confidence, the new friends, the stage and interview experience your daughter will gain. Each and every girl is recognized and rewarded throughout the event and will receive an official state finalist trophy at the exciting finale!

Our History

American Coed Pageants  is one of the largest, most prestigious and popular pageant systems in the world. Since 1983, more than 12 million dollars in Cash, Scholarships, Prizes and Gifts have been awarded to deserving young ladies nationwide.

American Coed Pageants is a nationwide scholarship program for girls between the ages of 3 and 22. Pageants are held on state and national levels with all national pageants being held annually in Orlando, Florida and Walt Disney World Resorts each November.

American Coed Pageants  is a national organization with its headquarters in Pensacola, Florida. Experienced directors from all across the country direct the state pageants. More than 15,000 young ladies enter an American Coed Pageant each year. State pageants are directed by experienced directors from all across the country. Each director is highly qualified; many have advanced degrees, and all play an active role in the business and educational community.  American Coed Pageants is not affiliated with any other pageant system nor does it endorse any other pageants.

"American Coed Pageants" was selected as our pageant name so it would not be confused with ordinary pageants. A girl who is referred to as “Coed” brings to mind an All-American girl…one who is a good student, full of enthusiasm for her school and family, and who is preparing herself to become the very best person she can be. Our goal from the beginning was to be recognized not only as a unique program, but also one of the best programs available for girls in America. Our pageant is a family experience that will long be remembered!
